Projects

The Foundation is currently financing the following projects:

  • Three-year study grant, in conjunction with the Maria Letizia Verga Committee charitable association, of €50,000 p.a. to Laura Bettini, researcher at the Bicocca University of Milan, in connection with a research project on “Paediatric acute lymphoblastic leukaemia”;
  • Travel grant for a total amount of €40,000 p.a. in connection with “Progetto Virgilio”, run in conjunction with the University of Milan, Bicocca University and Humanitas University (also both in Milan) to contribute to the expenses incurred by young and promising medical students to complete a period of studies outside of Italy.
